Memphis, Tennessee – Campaign for School Equity’s executive director Mendell Grinter released the following statement in response to news that Dorsey Hopson will resign from his position as superintendent for Shelby County Schools.
Superintendent Hopson is the embodiment of service to home and community. We’ve admired his leadership and ability to work hard for the many students and families in our region. We wish him the best and know that he will apply the same dedication and standard of excellence to his future endeavors.
